    Page builder

The page builder is the visual editor for website pages. It fills the screen and is split in two: the editing sidebar on the left, the live preview on the right.
You reach it from the Page Builder tab when creating or editing a page, or by clicking a row on the CMS page list.

    The top bar#

    ElementPurpose
Exit BuilderLeaves the builder. Warns "You have unsaved changes. Do you want to leave?" when there is unsaved work
Page titleThe title of the page being edited
Status line"Unsaved changes", "Last saved at <time>", or "No changes yet"
Status pillShows Saved, Unsaved, or Saving...
Save ChangesSaves. Disabled while there is nothing to save
When you open the builder directly from the page list, your work is also saved automatically 30 seconds after the last change. When the builder is opened inside the create or edit form, saving is manual.

    The sidebar#

    Three stacked sections.

    Page Settings#

The same navigation and publishing switches as the page form, available without leaving the builder:
    OptionEffect
Show in HeaderThe page appears in the top menu
Show in FooterThe page appears in the footer menu
Show on HomeThe page's content is embedded on the home page
PublishedThe page is visible on your website
Menu OrderPosition in the menus. Lower numbers come first

    Add Content Block#

A horizontal strip of block buttons. Each button shows an icon and a name; hovering it shows a one-line description. Scroll the strip sideways to reach them all.
Clicking a block adds it to the bottom of the page. There is no drag-from-toolbar; reorder afterwards in the preview. Every block arrives with example content already filled in, which you then replace.
The full list of blocks is in Content blocks.

    Edit Block#

The form for whichever block is selected. It is headed with the block type, for example "Heading Block". Close deselects the block.
With nothing selected the panel reads "No block selected" and "Add a block above or click on a block in the preview to edit it".

    The preview#

The right-hand side shows the page roughly as visitors will see it, wrapped in a mock header and footer so you can judge the spacing. The header and footer here are placeholders — the real ones are configured under Website appearance.
Pages in the header or footer menus are highlighted in the mock navigation so you can check the setting took effect.

    Working with blocks#

Hover a block and a dark toolbar appears above it with:
    ControlPurpose
Drag handleHold and drag to move the block up or down
Block typeThe type of the block, for reference
Edit (pencil)Selects the block and opens its form in the sidebar
Delete (bin)Asks "Delete this block?" and removes it
Clicking anywhere on a block also selects it. The selected block is outlined and tagged "Editing".

    Reordering#

Drag a block by its handle and drop it in its new position. The order in the preview is the order on the published page. Reordering is also possible with the keyboard once the handle has focus.

    Empty page#

A page with no blocks reads "No content yet" and "Add content blocks from the sidebar to get started".

    Rows and columns#

The Row / Columns block is a container. Choose 2, 3 or 4 columns and a spacing of Small, Medium or Large, then fill each column using its own + Add block… menu.
Nine block types can go inside a column: Heading, Paragraph, Image, Button, HTML, Video, Spacer, Divider, Testimonial. Rows cannot be nested inside rows.
Inside a column, each child block gets Move up, Move down and Remove block controls, plus its own full editing form.
Reducing the number of columns does not lose content: anything in the columns being removed is appended to the new last column.

    Saving#

Save Changes writes the page. If the save fails you see "Failed to save page. Please try again."
Saving from the builder writes the content and the page settings shown in the sidebar. The title, slug and SEO fields are saved from the page form — see Website pages.
