    Property documents

Each property can hold files: floor plans, energy certificates, contracts, surveys. They live on their own page, reached from the Documents button on a property card in the property list.
    Note
Documents are a Premium feature. On the Basic plan the page redirects back to the property list. Attempting the action directly returns "This feature requires a Premium plan. Please upgrade to access it."

    Layout#

The page header shows "Documents" with the property title underneath, a Back to Properties button, and an Upload Documents button that opens and closes the upload panel.
Below that: the folder tabs, the document list, and a summary.

    Folders#

Documents are grouped into folders. Folders are not created separately — a folder exists as soon as a document is placed in it. The default folder is called general.
The folder tabs run across the page. The first tab, all, shows every document; each following tab shows one folder. Every tab carries the number of documents it holds.

    Uploading#

    1.
    Click Upload Documents.
    2.
Under Select Folder, pick an existing folder or general.
    3.
Drop files onto the upload area, or click Click to upload and choose them.

    The document list#

Each document is a row showing:
An icon that reflects the file type — image, PDF, text document, spreadsheet, archive, or a generic paperclip
    The file name
The description, when one is set
The upload date, the file size, and the folder it belongs to

    Row actions#

    ActionResult
Download (arrow icon)Opens the file in a new browser tab
Edit (pencil icon)Turns the file name into an editable field, with Save and Cancel
Delete (bin icon)Asks "Are you sure you want to delete this document?" and removes the document
Renaming shows "Document updated successfully" on success, "Failed to update document" on failure. Deleting shows "Document deleted successfully" or "Failed to delete document".

    Empty states#

No documents at all: "No documents" and "No documents uploaded yet"
A folder with nothing in it: "No documents" and "No documents in "<folder>" folder"

    Summary#

When at least one document exists, three counters appear at the bottom of the page:
    CounterWhat it shows
Total DocumentsNumber of documents on this property
    FoldersNumber of folders in use
Total SizeCombined size of all documents, rounded to whole megabytes

    Sharing a document#

Downloads are served through a one-time link that expires five minutes after it is generated, and can be used once. Copying a download URL and sending it to someone else will not work for long — send the file itself instead.
    Note
Deleting a document removes the file permanently.
