    Website texts

Every word your public website shows a visitor comes from a dictionary. The Texts tab lets you pick which language that dictionary is in, and replace any individual phrase with your own wording.
Open Settings in the sidebar and pick the Texts tab. The panel is headed "Site language & texts — Choose the language of your public site and override any text shown to visitors. Empty fields fall back to the dictionary value for the selected language."
    Note
Agents can open this tab and see everything, but saving requires an administrator.
This tab changes what the site says. How it looks is set separately — see Website appearance. It has nothing to do with the language of the back office, which each user sets for themselves from the top bar.

    Active language#

    OptionSite language
    English (EN)English
    Nederlands (NL)Dutch
    Italiano (IT)Italian
Changing this switches every phrase on your website to that language at once. Your own overrides are kept and continue to apply on top.
A badge at the top right shows the template default, which is the language used when you have not chosen one.

    Overriding a phrase#

Each phrase is a row with three parts: its internal key and current dictionary value on the left, an input box in the middle, and a reset button on the right.
    1.
Find the phrase, using the groups or the search box.
    2.
Type your wording into the input box.
    3.
    Click Save language & texts.
An overridden row is outlined in blue. Clearing the box removes the override and the website goes back to the dictionary value — an empty override is not an empty phrase.
The placeholder inside each box shows the dictionary value, so you can always see what you are replacing. Where the dictionary itself has nothing, the row reads "(empty default)".

    Groups#

Phrases are organised into collapsible groups. Each group header shows how many phrases it contains and, when relevant, how many you have overridden.

Hero / Homepage bannerHeadline, subtitle, search bar, CTA and stats above the fold
Properties listing pageHeadline, subtitle and pagination controls of the listing

Contact card labelsLabels above the phone, WhatsApp, email and address cards
FooterFooter headings, tagline and copyright line
    CommonMiscellaneous shared labels
OtherPhrases not assigned to a group
Only one group is open at a time. Clicking a header opens it and closes the previous one.

    Searching#

The Search strings box filters the list. It matches both the internal key and the current text, so you can search for the words a visitor sees. When nothing matches, the panel reads "No strings match your search."

    Counting and resetting#

Above the groups, a line reports how many phrases you have overridden in total.
Reset all appears once there is at least one override. It asks "Reset all overrides? This will revert every string to the dictionary value for the active language." and, on confirmation, clears every override at once.
The reset arrow on an individual row clears just that phrase.
    Note
Resetting is not undoable. Reset all clears every override in every group, not only the one you have open. Nothing is written until you click Save language & texts, so a mistaken reset can still be abandoned by leaving the tab without saving.

    Relationship with Appearance#

Some phrases can be set in two places. The tagline, the footer labels, the copyright line, the hero subtitle, the search box wording and the contact page titles all have their own fields under Website appearance.
When both are filled in, the field under Appearance wins. Leave it empty there, and the phrase comes from this tab, or from the dictionary when you have not overridden it.
