    Users and roles

Every person who works in the back office has their own account. This page covers managing those accounts, and what each role is allowed to do.
Open it from Users in the sidebar. It is headed "Team Members — Manage your team and permissions".
    Note
Users only appears in the sidebar for administrators. Agents cannot reach this page.

Where the table says "View only", an agent sees the section and its current values but cannot save changes. Where it says "No", the section is replaced by an explanatory panel or is missing from the menu.

    Counters#

    Reading a user card#

Each user is a card showing the first letter of their name as an avatar, a green or grey dot for active or inactive, their name, their email address, a role badge, a status badge, and the date they joined.

    Adding a team member#

    1.
    Click Add Team Member.
    2.
    Fill in the form.
    3.
    Click Create User.
    FieldRequiredAccepts
    NameYes2 to 255 characters
    EmailYesA valid email address
PasswordYesAt least 8 characters (maximum 100)
RoleYesAdmin or Agent. Defaults to Agent
StatusYesActive or Inactive. Defaults to Active
Submitting without a password shows "Password is required for new users". The form repeats the rule under the field: "Must be at least 8 characters".
On success you see "User created successfully". On failure, "User creation failed" or the reason returned by the server.

    Editing a team member#

Click Edit on a card. The same form opens without the password field — an existing user's password cannot be changed from here.
    FieldEditable
    NameYes
    EmailYes
    PasswordNo
    RoleYes
    StatusYes
The button reads Update User. On success you see "User updated successfully".
Setting a user to Inactive is the way to suspend access without removing the account and its history.

    Deleting a team member#

The bin icon asks "Are you sure you want to delete this user?" and removes the account. You see "User deleted successfully" or "Failed to delete user".
The delete button does not appear on your own card — you cannot delete yourself.
    Note
Deleting a user is permanent. Notes and properties they created remain, but the account is gone. Prefer setting the user to Inactive if you may need the account again.

    Paging#

12 users per page, with "Showing X to Y of Z", the page number, and Previous / Next buttons.

    Empty results#

With no filters: "No users found" and "Get started by adding your first team member", with an Add Your First Team Member button.
With filters: "No users found" and "Try adjusting your filters", with a Clear Filters button.
